Short Breaks Available

Enchanting ground floor apartment paces from Largo's sandy beach, with steps up to outside seating area and summerhouse from which there are the most stunning and panoramic sea views. This is a perfect bolthole for couples (well behaved dog permitted too), and the interior is very stylishly presented with well equipped modern kitchen, bathroom with bath and overhead shower, double bedroom and comfy sitting room with log burner for cosy evenings in. There is a local pub and shop within walking distance of the apartment, and St Andrews The Home of Golf with its many boutique shops and great restaurants just a short 20 minute drive away.

Steps from the garden lead up to what the owners aptly call 'Base Camp' (quite a few steps but worth it!!). Here there is a large summerhouse with solar lighting and paved area where you can base yourselves during the day or evening and soak up the view (recliner seats and blankets supplied). There is also a gate from here that leads to a free car parking area, so ideal once you have dropped off your bags. The first lower part of the garden (shared) also has a washing line.

Lower Largo is the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk, whose real-life adventures were fictionalised by the novelist Daniel Defoe in his book Robinson Crusoe. There are plenty of great coastal walks on the doorstep with the opportunity to enjoy our local wildlife and - if you are lucky - spot dolphins and whales during the summer.

The apartment itself is all on one level - but access to the summerhouse area would not suit anyone with mobility issues - or very young toddlers.

Entrance to the apartment is via the rear leading to

KITCHEN - attractive and modern kitchen with all mod cons including dishwasher, 5-ring gas cooker and electric oven and grill, microwave, large fridge freezer.

HALLWAY - wooden flooring - cupboard containing tumble dryer and washing machine, ironing facilities etc.

SITTING ROOM / DINING AREA - Really cosy attractive room with log burner being the focal point, 3-seater sofa, dining table and 4 chairs, comfy recliner chair, TV/DVD, with a selection of DVDs, books and games, wi-fi.

BEDROOM - Double bed, storage and window garden facing.

BATHROOM - modern bathroom with bath, overhead shower, wh basin, wc, heated towel rail, shaver point and mirror light.

OUTSIDE - 33 steps lead up from the shared garden area to Base Camp with its large summerhouse and outside seating area, 4 recliner chairs, throws for chilly nights, solar lighting - and last but not least the most stunning views imaginable!!!

PARKING - there is a free car park which is situated through a gate marked Private at the top of the garden, free parking on street also at base level but can sometimes be busy so best for drop offs.

This is a cosy little place perfect for a couple to explore the are from. It is even nicer in reality than it looks in the photos, sparkling clean and well equipped. Only a few minutes walk to the sea and coast path, and adequate shops.

We shared som birthday champagne in the beach hut, then walked to Elie where we got engaged. Followed by dinner with the toffs at the Peat Inn! Weatehr was fabulous thand to East Fife microclimate. Loved the stove, the huge oven and the backwards knobs, plus the butterflies in the garden.
