For those interested in golf, Gleneagles has three championship golf courses -

The Kings, Queens and the PGA Centenary Course created by Jack Niclaus, the venue for the 40th Ryder Cup in 2014. 

In addition, there is a nine hole 'wee course' and a pitch and putt course.

The Royal Burgh of Auchterarder is only a short walk away from the apartment.  The Town is laid out with one long (1 1/2 mile) main street running through the centre, giving Auchterarder the nick name 'the Lang Toon'.

 

Eating
Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Club House 'The Dormy' provide a wonderful range of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.  Auchterarder is also very well known for its many wonderful restaurants and cafes, all of a very high standard.

 

Shopping
Both Gleneagles and Auchterarder have a number of upmarket shops in which to blow the budget!  There is a local supermarket and bakery.
